Problem | TransacXML (Java) - Filenames generated by Plex is too long for the operating system to handle. What do I do? |
Answer | When generating complex structures of XML documents using Websydian TransacXML the filenames generated by Plex might exceed the maximum length of files supported by the operating system. |
Workaround | In order to get around this problem an upgrade to Plex 5.5 is
required.
A workaround when using Plex 5.5 is to enable "Use implementation names in source" in the generate and build options. (Located under Double Byte Build). For Plex 5.5 SP1 this option has been moved to another group in the generate and build options and has been enabled by default. |
